How to Use
Coverage: Approximately 100-120 square feet per 20kg bag for two coats (50-60 sq ft per coat) depending on wall condition, surface porosity and application thickness. Actual coverage may vary based on substrate evenness and texture.
Storage Before Use: Store Wall Cure Wallputty in a cool, dry place away from moisture and dampness. Keep bags elevated from the ground on wooden planks or pallets. Do not stack more than 10 bags high. Do not use hardened or lumpy material. Keep away from children and food items.
Surface Preparation: Ensure the wall surface is clean, free from dust, dirt, grease, oil, loose particles, paint and any contaminants. Remove all flaking or weak plaster using a scraper or wire brush. For new plaster or mortar walls, allow adequate curing time of minimum 7 days before applying Wall Cure Wallputty. Saturate the wall surface thoroughly with clean portable water and allow excess water to drain off. The surface should be just moist (damp), not dripping wet, during application.
Mixing Instructions: Pour approximately 6.5 to 7.5 liters of clean portable water into a clean bucket or container. Gradually add the entire 20kg bag of Wall Cure Wallputty powder while stirring continuously to avoid lump formation. Mix thoroughly using a mechanical stirrer or electric drill with paddle attachment at low speed for 3-5 minutes until you achieve a smooth, homogeneous, lump-free paste with uniform consistency. The paste should have a creamy, workable consistency - neither too thick nor too runny.
First Coat Application: Using a putty blade, paint patra or steel trowel, apply the first coat of Wall Cure Wallputty on the prepared damp wall surface from bottom to top in vertical strokes. Apply uniformly with a thickness of 1-1.5mm, working the paste well into the surface to fill all pores, cracks and undulations. Press firmly to ensure good contact and adhesion with the base plaster. Remove any excess material and ensure edges are smooth. Cover the entire wall area evenly.
Drying Time: Allow the first coat to dry completely for 4-6 hours in summer conditions or 6-8 hours in winter/humid conditions before applying the second coat. The drying time may vary depending on weather conditions, humidity levels and wall porosity. Do not apply the second coat until the first coat is completely dry to touch.
Second Coat Application: Once the first coat is completely dry, lightly dampen the surface again with clean water using a spray bottle or wet cloth. Apply the second coat of Wall Cure Wallputty horizontally (perpendicular to the first coat) to even out any application marks and achieve a perfectly smooth finish. The thickness of the second coat should be 0.5-1mm. The total combined thickness of both coats should not exceed 2-3mm for optimal results.
Finishing & Sanding: Allow the second coat to dry completely for 24-48 hours depending on weather conditions before sanding. Once fully dried and cured, gently sand the entire wall surface using fine-grade emery paper or sandpaper (180-220 grit number) in circular motions to remove any application marks, ridges or minor imperfections. Sand until you achieve an ultra-smooth, even finish. Remove all dust and loose powder from the sanded surface using a clean, dry cloth or soft brush.
Painting: After sanding and dusting, the wall is ready for direct paint application without requiring any primer. You can apply any type of paint - water-based emulsion, oil-based enamel, distemper or texture paint directly on the prepared Wall Cure Wallputty surface. For best results, wait 2-3 days after final sanding before painting to ensure complete drying.
Important Application Guidelines:

• Always prepare only the quantity of putty that can be used within 2-3 hours as the mixed paste has limited pot life
• Do not add extra water after initial mixing as this will weaken the bond strength
• Avoid application during extreme weather - not in direct sunlight, rain, or when temperature is below 5°C or above 40°C
• For fresh concrete/RCC surfaces, it is recommended to apply two coats of white cement wash before applying Wall Cure Wallputty
• Do not use saline or impure water for mixing or cleaning walls - use only clean portable water
• Protect freshly applied putty from direct sunlight, rain and extreme temperatures for at least 24 hours

For Exterior Walls: Wall Cure Wallputty can be effectively used on exterior walls. Ensure proper surface preparation and adequate drying time between coats. For exterior applications in areas with heavy rainfall or extreme weather, consider applying a waterproof coating or weather-resistant paint after the putty has fully cured for enhanced protection.
For Old/Repainted Walls: Remove all loose, flaking or peeling paint completely using a scraper. Clean the surface thoroughly. Fill any major cracks with suitable crack filler or repair mortar first. Then follow the standard application procedure for Wall Cure Wallputty.
Pot Life: Use the mixed putty paste within 2-3 hours of preparation. Do not attempt to remix or add water to stiffened paste. Discard any unused material after the pot life expires.
Safety Precautions: Contains cement and chemical additives. Avoid inhalation of dust while mixing and handling. Wear protective gloves and mask during application. Avoid direct contact with skin and eyes. In case of eye contact, rinse immediately with plenty of clean water and seek medical attention if irritation persists. Wash hands thoroughly with soap and water after handling. Use in well-ventilated areas. Keep out of reach of children.
