Shelf Life 12 months from date of manufacturing when stored in dry conditions
How to Use
Storage: Store cement bags in a dry, covered place away from moisture. Stack bags on wooden planks raised from the ground. Use older stock first (FIFO method). Do not stack more than 10 bags high to prevent cement from hardening.
Mixing Ratio: For concrete work - Mix cement, sand and aggregate in ratio of 1:2:4 or 1:1.5:3 depending on strength requirement. For plastering - Mix cement and sand in ratio of 1:4 to 1:6. For brickwork - Use cement and sand in ratio of 1:6. Add water gradually to achieve desired consistency.
Preparation: Use clean river sand and washed aggregate free from silt, clay and organic matter. Add clean water gradually while mixing. Mix thoroughly using a concrete mixer or manually on a clean platform until uniform consistency is achieved.
Application: Apply mixed mortar or concrete within 30-45 minutes of preparation. For plastering, dampen the wall surface before application. For concrete work, compact properly using needle vibrator to remove air pockets. Finish the surface as required.
Curing: After application, cure the structure by sprinkling water regularly for at least 7-14 days. Proper curing is essential to achieve full strength and prevent cracks. Keep the surface moist especially during hot weather conditions.
Safety Tip: Wear protective gloves and mask while handling cement. Avoid direct contact with skin and eyes. Wash thoroughly with water if cement comes in contact with skin.
