How to Use
Dilution Ratio: Mix 1 liter of Terminator Structure Preservative with 50 liters of clean water to prepare the treatment emulsion. For 500ml bottle, mix with 25 liters of water. Always add the preservative to water, not water to preservative, to ensure proper mixing.
Coverage: Approximately 6 liters of diluted emulsion per square meter for floor treatment. For soil treatment in trenches, use approximately 3 liters of emulsion per linear meter. Actual coverage may vary depending on soil type, porosity and application method.
Pre-Construction Soil Treatment: Before laying the foundation, treat the soil with Terminator emulsion to create a protective barrier. Prepare the emulsion by mixing 1 liter with 50 liters of water. Apply liberally to the entire area where the foundation will be laid. Ensure the soil is thoroughly saturated to a depth of at least 300mm. Allow the treated soil to absorb the solution completely before proceeding with construction work. This creates a chemical barrier that prevents termites from entering the structure from underground.
Floor Treatment Before Tiling: Structure Preservative must be applied onto your floor before fixing tiles or laying flooring materials. Mix approximately 500ml of Terminator Structure Preservative in 1 bucket of water (20 liters). Sprinkle this emulsion evenly on the floor, walls and corners of your room using a watering can, sprayer or by pouring directly. Use approximately 6 liters of diluted emulsion per square meter. Ensure the floor is thoroughly wet and the emulsion has properly seeped into the surface. Allow adequate drying time before proceeding with tiling or flooring installation.
Perimeter Trench Treatment: For existing buildings, dig a trench approximately 45cm wide and 45cm deep along the exterior perimeter of your house, running all around the foundation. Remove the soil from the trench and set it aside. Prepare the treatment emulsion by mixing 1 liter Terminator with 50 liters of water. Pour the emulsion on both sides of the trench walls until the soil is thoroughly saturated. Add approximately 3 liters of the emulsion to each linear meter of the removed soil and mix thoroughly. Return the treated soil back into the trench. This creates a protective barrier around your building that prevents termite entry from outside.
Treatment for Existing Infested Areas: For rooms or areas showing signs of termite activity, prepare the emulsion and apply generously to affected areas including floors, wall bases, cracks, crevices and joints. Pay special attention to areas where wooden structures meet concrete, electrical conduit entry points, plumbing penetrations and expansion joints. Apply until the surface is thoroughly wet and allow complete absorption.
Mixing with Cement Concrete: Terminator Structure Preservative can be mixed directly with water used for preparing cement concrete during construction. Add the preservative to the mixing water at the rate of 500ml per 50 liters of water. This creates termite-resistant concrete for foundations, floors, columns and other structural elements. Mix thoroughly and use the concrete as per normal construction practices.
Mixing with Paints and Primers: For additional protection, mix Terminator Structure Preservative with water-based exterior paints or oil-based paints and primers in the ratio of 2 parts preservative to 100 parts paint. This creates a termite-repellent coating for walls, providing dual protection against termites attempting to enter through masonry. Apply as per normal painting procedures.
Application Safety: Although eco-friendly, wear protective gloves and mask during application, especially when treating large areas. Ensure adequate ventilation. Avoid contact with eyes and skin. If contact occurs, rinse immediately with plenty of clean water. Keep children and pets away from treated areas until the solution has completely dried and absorbed.
Drying and Curing Time: After application of the emulsion on floors or soil, allow adequate drying time before proceeding with further construction work. In normal weather conditions, allow 12-24 hours for the solution to dry and absorb completely. In humid conditions or during monsoon, drying time may extend to 48 hours. Do not cover or place materials on treated surfaces until completely dry.
Frequency of Treatment: For comprehensive protection, treat soil during construction phase and apply floor treatment before tiling. For existing buildings, perimeter trench treatment should be done as needed, typically every 3-5 years or when termite activity is observed. Regular inspection and retreatment of vulnerable areas ensures continuous protection.
Storage Instructions: Store Terminator Structure Preservative in its original container with the cap tightly sealed. Keep in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, heat sources and open flames. Store away from food items, beverages, seeds and animal feed. Always store in upright position to prevent leakage. Do not transfer to unlabeled containers. Keep out of reach of children.
