How to Use
Surface Preparation: Ensure the surface is clean, dry and free from dust, oil, grease, loose particles and any contaminants. Remove any flaking paint or weak plaster. Pre-wet the surface lightly with clean water using a brush or spray to improve adhesion and prevent rapid moisture absorption.
Mixing: Always add JK Wall Maxx putty to clean water, never add water to putty as this may create lumps. Mix putty with 35-40% clean water by weight (approximately 14-16 liters of water per 40kg bag). Use a mechanical stirrer or electric drill with paddle attachment to mix thoroughly for 3-5 minutes until you achieve a smooth, consistent, lump-free paste with uniform consistency. Let the mixture rest for 2-3 minutes before application.
First Coat Application: Apply the thoroughly mixed paste uniformly on the prepared surface using a putty blade or trowel, working from bottom to top in smooth, even strokes. Apply a thin coat of approximately 1-1.5mm thickness, pressing firmly to ensure good contact with the surface. Remove any excess material immediately and ensure edges are smooth.
Second Coat Application: Allow the first coat to dry completely for 4-6 hours (drying time may vary based on weather conditions and humidity). Once dry, lightly dampen the surface with water. Apply the second coat of JK Wall Maxx evenly using the same technique to fill any remaining imperfections and create a perfectly smooth surface. Thickness of second coat should be 0.5-1mm.
Finishing: After application of both coats, let the wall dry completely for 2-3 days before sanding. Once fully dried, gently sand the surface using fine-grade sandpaper (180-220 grit) in circular motions to achieve an ultra-smooth finish. Remove all dust with a clean, dry cloth before painting.
Coverage: Approximately 14-16 sq. ft. per kg per coat on smooth surfaces. Coverage may vary depending on surface texture, porosity and application thickness.

Important Tips:
- Do not apply putty in direct sunlight or on extremely hot surfaces
- Maintain room temperature between 10°C to 40°C during application
- While curing is not mandatory, light water sprinkling for 2 days after application enhances cement hydration and gives better results
- Use mixed putty within 2-3 hours for best results
- For exterior walls, apply a primer coat before painting for enhanced durability
