MULTIPURPOSE SYNTHETIC RUBBER CONTACT ADHESIVE - Pidilite Fevicol SR 505 is a high-performance synthetic rubber-based solvent containing contact adhesive designed for versatile bonding applications across multiple industries. This professional-grade adhesive exhibits immediate bond strength and excellent resistance to water and aging, making it ideal for PVC flooring, upholstery work, handicrafts, vehicle interiors, HVAC insulation, and general repairs. The 1 litre pack is perfect for professional contractors, furniture manufacturers, automobile workshops, and construction projects requiring consistent, high-quality bonding performance.
EXCELLENT BOND STRENGTH WITH SUPERIOR SPREADABILITY - Formulated with a benzene-free composition, Fevicol SR 505 is non-hazardous to health and provides excellent spreadability for easy application. The adhesive bonds a variety of substrates including U-Foam/Rubber Foam to U-Foam, Rexine to Foam, Wood/Plywood to U-Foam, Coir to U-Foam, canvas, metal, PVC to mosaic or concrete surfaces, and insulation materials like Nitrile Rubber, EPDM, XLPE, Rockwool, and PUF to duct surfaces and MS pipelines. Features a mild smell suitable for poorly ventilated areas. The high-tack formula ensures a reliable hold providing durable and long-lasting bonds with strong ageing resistance.
ECONOMICAL WITH HIGH COVERAGE - This light yellowish liquid adhesive offers high coverage, especially on flooring applications where it can cover approximately 90 square feet per litre depending on floor conditions. Can be applied by brush, applicator, or finger for convenience. Widely used in upholstery, bus body tops, seat cover pasting, veneer industry, car and bus interiors, footwear repairs, HVAC ducting in hospitals, pharmaceuticals, research centres, recording studios, cold storages, malls, airports, auditoriums, chilled water piping, acoustic insulation, wall panelling, underdeck insulation, and various handicraft applications. Leaves no residue compared to other adhesives, making it economical for long-term professional use.

How to Use Ensure surfaces to be bonded are clean, dry, and free from oil, grease, dust, and contaminants. Stir the adhesive thoroughly before application. Apply Fevicol SR 505 evenly on both surfaces using a brush, applicator, or finger. For non-porous surfaces, apply adhesive first, followed by porous surfaces. Allow the adhesive to become touch-dry (15-35 seconds depending on climatic conditions). Once dry to touch, press both surfaces together firmly, ensuring uniform contact across the entire bonding area. Final bond strength is achieved in 24 hours. Keep the container closed when not in use. Avoid smoking and naked flames in the working area as the adhesive is highly flammable.
