How to Use
Surface Preparation: Ensure surfaces to be bonded are completely clean, dry and free from dust, dirt, oil, grease, paint, rust, moisture and any contaminants. For optimal results, it is preferable to solvent-wipe plastics, glass and rubber surfaces using acetone, isopropanol or any suitable degreasing solvent. For metals, acid-treat or roughen lightly with fine sandpaper to improve adhesion. Allow cleaned surfaces to dry completely before applying adhesive.
Application Method: Apply a very thin layer of Vetra LV-401 to one of the surfaces to be bonded. Use sparingly - only a small amount is needed for effective bonding. A single drop can cover several square centimeters. For best results, apply adhesive to only one surface. The low viscosity formula will spread and penetrate into the joint through capillary action.
Bonding Process: Immediately bring the two surfaces together within seconds of application, ensuring good contact across the entire bonding area. Press surfaces firmly together and hold in position for 10-30 seconds to allow initial bonding to occur. Good contact between mating surfaces is essential for optimal bond development. Ensure parts are properly aligned before bonding as repositioning after contact is not possible.
Setting Time: An adequate bond develops in less than one minute. Handling strength is achieved almost instantly, but allow the bond to cure for a few minutes before subjecting to stress or load. For maximum bond strength, allow the assembly to cure undisturbed for 24 hours at room temperature, especially for structural applications or bonds that will bear significant loads.
Important Usage Tips:

• Use the minimum amount of adhesive necessary - excess adhesive does not improve bond strength and may cause whitening or slow curing
• Work in a well-ventilated area as cyanoacrylate vapors may cause eye irritation
• Avoid applying thick layers as this will significantly slow down curing time
• For gap-filling applications, apply adhesive to one surface and use as a wick-in adhesive
• Wipe off any excess adhesive from the top of the container immediately after use
• Always recap the tube tightly after each use to prevent contamination

Container Maintenance: After each use, wipe off excess adhesive from the nozzle tip and the top of the container using a clean, dry cloth. Recap Vetra LV-401 immediately and tightly after use. If left uncapped, the adhesive may deteriorate by contamination from moisture in the air. Because Vetra LV-401 condenses by polymerization, sometimes whitening may occur on the surface or around the container opening - this is normal and does not affect product performance.
Material Restrictions: Vetra LV-401 will NOT bond PTFE (Teflon), nylon, polypropylene (PP), polyethylene (PE), silicone rubber and certain other low-energy plastics. These materials require special surface treatment or different adhesive types for successful bonding.
Storage Guidelines: Keep the product in unopened, tightly sealed original packaging in a cool, dry location away from direct sunlight and heat sources. Best storage conditions are at temperature 20-25°C with humidity not exceeding 50%. Temperatures less than 2°C can adversely affect product properties. Do NOT freeze. Keep packing tightly closed until ready for use. Store in upright position to prevent leakage.
Safety Precautions: Material removed from containers may be contaminated during use - do NOT pour back any product into the original container as this will spoil the entire contents. Use with proper ventilation. Avoid direct contact with skin and eyes. Cyanoacrylate adhesive bonds skin instantly. If contact with skin occurs, do NOT try to pull or separate bonded skin forcibly. Rinse the affected area with warm soapy water and allow the bond to gradually dissolve naturally, or use acetone-based nail polish remover to carefully dissolve the adhesive. If adhesive gets into eyes, keep eye open and rinse thoroughly with clean water for several minutes. Seek medical attention immediately. Keep well out of reach of children. Store away from food and beverages.
Handling Precautions: Misuse of product will void all warranties. This adhesive is for bonding materials only and should never be used for medical purposes, on skin intentionally, or in any application involving direct food contact. Wear protective gloves if handling large quantities or using frequently to prevent skin bonding accidents.
